Flying Lesson Package

Have you ever wanted to try your hand at flying? Why not treat yourself, or a loved one to a flying lesson while enjoying a relaxing break at The Ormond at Tetbury. Flying from Cotswold Airport near to Tetbury, it is sure to be an unforgettable experience.

The 60 minute lesson is operated by The Cotswold Flying Club, a CAA Registered training facility. Any time flown during a lesson will count towards the Private Pilot’s Licence course should you decide to take up flying.

All the aircraft are equipped with dual controls, and you will occupy the captain’s seat alongside one of experienced flying instructors who will guide you through everything involved in learning to fly a light aircraft; taking off, climbing, levelling off, manoeuvring, navigating and landing again. You will be encouraged to take the controls for most of the flight with the instructor intervening during landing. A typical route flies over the Cotswolds, along the Estuary into Wales, passing the magnificent Severn bridges, and back along the picturesque Wye Valley.
