Clay Pigeon Shooting

The Ormond has teamed up with the excellent Ladys Woods Shooting School to provide you with the opportunity to test your nerve against some of the most well planned traps in the country! Just 15 minutes from the hotel and set in 65 acres of beautiful woodland, Ladys Wood offers a wide variety of authentic sporting traps ranging from a bolting rabbit on the ground to a long distant pheasant thrown from a 120 ft high tower.

The package is available to people of all experience, whether you are trying out the sport for the first time or an experienced shot simply seeking advice on brushing up your technique. We will take care of all arrangements for the shoot. Normally booked in one hour slots you will be provided with guns and cartridges as well as as much expert tuition as you require. At the end you are invited back to the cosy lodge for a debrief and a refreshments before heading back to Tetbury.
