Rooms At The Ormond

As you would expect from a building that dates from the 17th century our 15 bedrooms come in a variety of shapes and sizes, all with their own distinctive character, including a four poster room.

They do have in common well-appointed bathrooms, comfortable beds, quality duvets and bedding, mostly flat screen televisions, tea, coffee and biscuits.

Cots are available for babies with a baby basket of essentials provided in case you've forgotten anything. Monitors work in the restaurant or bar from most of the bedrooms or we can organise a professional babysitter if you prefer.

Our Rooms:

We've worked hard over the last twelve months to upgrade most of the rooms.

We know that the little things count like lovely feather and duck down duvets, sumptous pillows too! (yes we do have anti allergy replacements! )

We're putting flat screen TV's in every room by March 2008 and we'll also be providing a DVD library for those of you who just want to have the chance to watch a film - something you might not get too much time to do when at home!

We have several different room types:

• Singles -

Whilst all of our rooms are double size we do sell them at single occupancy rates during the week (Sunday to Thursday)

• Twins

Five twins - three with a double bed and a single bed and two rooms with two single beds. All with bath and shower

• Standard Doubles

All recently refurbished, These rooms all have shower rooms.

• Superior Doubles

Larger rooms with spacious and well appointed bathrooms with bath and shower.

• Family Rooms

We have three family rooms all with double bed and single bed.

• The Stable Room

A very large double room in the old stable block of the hotel. This is a recently refurbished room with big oak beams a sumptuous bed and a sofa so that you can relax! A 32 inch flat screen TV that rotates to allow you to chill in the morning and watch TV in bed! It's more like a suite and very popular! Shower bathroom only.

• Four Poster Room

Flat screen TV, large bathroom and a great bed to sleep on! Large bathroom with bath and shower.
